Is it,
1)Supporting National Staff? 2)Constructing and Furnishing Resource Centers and Vocational Centers?
3)Establishing Community Boards to manage projects?
4) Securing more funding? or something else? Post your comments here!

Capacity building is broad as its name! I'm happy that we have this forum to discuss our ideas freely for the best interest of the Sudanese people. I would like to address two major points if capacity building programs are create real impact in Sudan.
First, let INGOs or Donor community make capacity building process own by the local community; for instance when we empower people to utilize their few resources and intellect, then there is high chance that this would become self sustainable. E.g If we make resource center boards/communities part in the establishment and management of the centers, then nobody will ever think of closing down such infrastructure since it had been an idea initiated and put in action by the community, this even applies to other programs. Let funding become an additional force to assist communities establish what they need; this makes capacity building a process driven by the communities not being enforced as program design to the communities.
Secondly, much as we appreciate technical expertise needed in ensuring quality control is in place, let's not forget that at the end, Sudanese will be left in their land to carry on these programs. How does this translate in capacity building? Capacity building is never and shall never be a ten years project with visible impact, this means that, it is comparatively important for agencies to invest in building capacities of national staff. These staff can be catalyst in all walks of life be it in government or civil society. Therefore, building capacities of Sudanese is worth building $1Bn dam which will not be used due to inadequate sustainability of the project!
With this few words, I strongly recommend building the capacities of National Staff by agencies isif we are to realize sustainable development or we risk dumping our resources with no further benefit to the country after program ends.

building capacity of Sudanese National staff through trainings in different fields of managements, is only necessary tool to sustain life of CSOs in Sudan after INGOs left Sudanses alone.
therefore, there is a need for INGOs coming to Sudan for building human capacity to look into better way of hinderance capacity building type.the RCs would never surve when left to the community unless the capcity building strategy begin with Sudanses capacity building teams ESP ITOs and OCOs running Resource centers Administratives affairs in the present time.

In my own point of view, Capacity building is backbone of the future for the country and for existing INGOs in the Sudan. The INGOs should really carry out a baseline study for what is a priority in the Capacity building of Nationals and communities in the Sudan,so that it gives us a chance of a very good development thru the Capacity building. And the top priorities are:
::Establishment of CSO in the community
Training their local set up of there CSO manager in Leadership,Democracy, and some developmental issues like Project planing and management.
Open Vocational training Centers for the Communities in Sudan. Finally so that they will be able to manager themselves Peaceful as the real sons and daughters of the Sudan and it gives the true vision of the existing INGOS in the Sudan
